VABOSS lighting controls are autonomous devices that manage lighting in an individual luminaire's space.
Controls have two distinct basic functions: detecting presence and managing light levels.
What is special about a VABOSS control is that after it detects presence, it switches on and immediately goes into a continual, imperceptible dimming state and continues until presence ceases. It is subtle; it is non-intrusive; it is designed to unnoticeably harvest light from all available sources and supplement it with LED lamp light to continually generate a defined LUX for each lamp zone.
A VABOSS Control makes all its' own decisions; turns on when it is dark and turns off when it is not required in its precisely defined zone of operation.
It will detect the arrival of a pedestrian or vehicle in a space within a building, factory or warehouse and will activate the lamp.
It may alert neighbouring controls so they can also turn on if they predict the path of the traffic. And it can be selective in which neighbouring controls it shares detection with. This is Group function.
A VABOSS control can be set to operate predictive learning feature, so that it can adjust timeouts to suit changing traffic patterns.
The overall aim is to operate lamps only in the presence of pedestrian or vehicular traffic.
